Vintage Stamping Challenge
This stamp evokes lovely memories of my childhood. I was an avid reader and always liked Mabel Lucie Attwell's illustrations. I am entering this at the last minute as per usual in The Vintage Stamping Challenge which finishes tom. and the eclectic paperie monochrome challenge which ends on the 4 July.

Tim's Tag June
Tim's tag June
In a bit of a rush. Only had all month to do it. Lovely son has got me a ticket to see Bruce Springstein in London tom. which has made up for the fact that was unable to secure a place on Tim's class in Coventry in Aug. Was on the phone from 8:30 until 10:30 and then gave up trying to get through. Fellow bloggers Tim's new challenge will be on his blog on Mon. make sure you get over there and have a look.

Hi everbody. It's that time of the week to hop on over to Julia's stamping blog and sneek a peek at other bloggers workspaces. As you can see mine has very little space left. Having a great time making envelopes with the new WeR memories envelope punchboard which arrived Mon.I followed 'Gentleman Jim the Crafters' You tube video to make the envelope book in just over an hour. Listening to him I some how got onto Laura Denison Designs and am now half way through making a large Tag box out of a brown paper bag and Graphic 45 papers. No guesses as to what people will be getting for Christmas. LOL !!! Was highly delighted to be classed as Highly Desirable over at the Vintage Stamping Challenge.

Blog hopping
This was one of my first blogs and I thought I would resurrect it for the Seths Buried treasure blog hopping. I would appreciate your comments.

Hi, finally managed to take a photo and get it into the computer in time to take part in Julia's Stamping Blog. Get yourself over there to have a peek into other crafters workspaces. I have been doing a lot lately with my Cricut expression and mini Cricut . I have been making wedding invites and a lovely picture of 'Round and Round The Garden' for my granddaughters first birthday ( her favourite game at the moment guaranteed to produce peals of laughter). Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo but will get my daughter to remedy that. Just about to do some stamping for card making (my first love).

Eclectic Paperie Challenge
Eclectic Paperie Challenge
This is my entry for 'The Altered Spoon Challenge' over on Eclectic Paperie. The petals are made from melted plastic spoons, coloured with adirondack inks and highlighted with stickles. The leaves were hand cut using shaped scissors. I used a ball tool to emboss the veins and highlighted them with Tim Holtz distress ink. There is a good instruction guide on You tube outlining the methodology and safety precautions.

Vintage Lace
This mannequin was made at a recent workshop I attended. The body is made of paper mache which I painted in gesso. The wooden stand was painted in gold acrylic. I stamped images onto a man's paper handkerchief. I then gently tore round the different shapes and then, and only then separated the layers. I pasted a gel medium onto the form and with my fingers and a paint brush placed the top layer of the stamped images in the appropriate positions. I then sealed these with another layer of gel medium. Next, I glued the lace around the bottom and top of the form. After stamping, colouring and shaping the flowers I glued the flowers in place , finally embellishing with pearls. These processes allow me to enter a couple of challenges. The first being over on Vintage Stamping Challenge (Lace and Pearls) and the second on Our Creative Corner using a recipe from 3 columns ( Lace, Wood , Inks)
