Recycling

This box originally housed 2 coffee cups and saucers. Using the colours on the box I embellished it by using punches from the sources mentioned below. I also used an ink pad to colour the edges and to colour the distressed flowers and butterflies. When finished I included my own present.

This is the finished result. Hope you likeit!
This is the card I made to go with the present above. I used a Martha Stewart deep punch for the edges,
Woodware punches for the flowers and a Cuttlebug die and emboss butterfly folder.

March 6th and 7th - Spent very enjoyable evenings with nephew Richard setting up lighting studio in order to take images of cards ready to import into Blog. He also ironed out some of the difficulties I was having editing images in Photoshop elements. Hope to be able to start showcasing my cards in the very near future.

Tues 16th Feb

Spent a very enjoyable afternoon yesterday with my very good friend Toni. We decided to find a way to use up some craft stock that has been lurking in the cupboard for a few years. Using the same papers and some pieces of chipboard we each produced our own individualised scrapbook album. I stayed up late to complete the finishing touches. Now to decide who will be the unwitting recipient. LOL. Whose birthday is coming up soon?!!!

This is the front cover. I used 4 pieces of chipboard, the largest being 12" long X 7", the others are each 1and1/4"less than the previous one.
