As the season for weddings is fast approaching I would love to share something I made last year. Above is the box I made for the card .

2 years later Feb23 2012

Decided having moved on in my life emotionally I am ready to continue with my blog. I have learned many skills and techniques in the last 2 years and am willing to test them out and hopefully inspire others to improve theirs. Well that's the theory!!!!

Recycling

This box originally housed 2 coffee cups and saucers. Using the colours on the box I embellished it by using punches from the sources mentioned below. I also used an ink pad to colour the edges and to colour the distressed flowers and butterflies. When finished I included my own present.

This is the finished result. Hope you likeit!

This is the card I made to go with the present above. I used a Martha Stewart deep punch for the edges,

Woodware punches for the flowers and a Cuttlebug die and emboss butterfly folder.
